AMERICA was awarded “Peoples Choice” at the 2004 ACBS “Tahoe Keys” Show in July, 2004, South Lake Tahoe, California. AMERICA was awarded “Best of Class” Antique Runabouts, May 1, 2005 at Lakewood Yacht Club’s “Keels & Wheels” Concours d’Elegance, Seabrook, Texas America on Lake Tahoe 2002. AMERICA IS ONE OF ONLY TEN 28 FOOT TRIPLE COCKPIT RUNABOUTS ORIGINALLY POWERED WITH THE SCRIPPS MODEL 302 V-12 ENGINE. THE FIRST WAS DELIVERED IN AUGUST, 1934, AND THE LAST IS “FORTY PINES” WHICH SOLD (8/04) FOR $350,000, (exclusive of Commissions and pending bottom restoration costs.)
